Tuesday for kicks we went and killed Jorm. It's ashame there is absolutely no incentive in killing him other than sheer entertainment.

Was bored and heard a fella shouting in Whitegate about a swift belt run. Have had a codex sitting in my MH for close to 6 months, figured it was a half decent oppurtunity to do it, although I was unfortunately mistaken :P. Had to do 7 of them and the group went 0/3 until mine dropped. ended up 3/7, which isnt too awful i reckon but the 5 hours it took to get it done was lame =).

Got a rain day today so I didn't have to work, ended up with 2 1/2 levels on RDM! Thanks to the meripo hoes that is. =D Hopefully next week will be as eventful. Laters! | | |
| It's been awhile since I've updated, although I've been back in game for awhile. I've always been to lazy to keep up with xanga :). Not much has changed since I left/returned to the game. I just keep on keeping on through the days. I reactivated my account around Oct/Nov and have been playing sporadically since then.Work has kept me pretty damn busy through the spring, so I haven't been playing much until recently. Things are pacing back abit so I can notch some time out for mindless entertainment =). Spring's been pleasant around here, the weather has consistently kicked ass and there's been alot of fun shit going on in between some not so fun shit! But that's another story for another day =). As for the game, I've made some progress while I have been able to play. I got my rdm to 70 through some diligent xp.  Hopefully I can get it to 75 through some good 'ol LS merit pt's fairly quick. I've enjoyed leveling it quite a bit, it's quite involved and gets pt's easy =). I look forward to it being 75 and nubbing up some end game shit with it. I think I'ma xp ranger or ninja next. I'd like to xp ranger to compliment samurai, but also because corsair seems like its alot of fun and I could see myself leveling it down the road. Ninja seems to be an easy choice too, due to the fact I already have a good bit of end game gear for it, I'm lazy, and its already 46 =P. I reckon I'll worry about that when I'm done with rdm. The only downside to this is I felt compelled to sell my [Naadun] Amemet Mantle+1 from way back in the day. Was a tough decision, but I think the right one =P. Thanks for crafting it garn =))).. and thanks for jinxing the HQ Innes =(((((.... Well this seems to be a healthy enough update, perhaps I'll update it again sometime in the next year! (or next week). I guess I'll leave you with my stats like everyone else does, I would have never imagined they were so low, and I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing =P. Anyways, night!

Hallo! My name is Harry Hood! I've been away awhile, traversing the world telling tales of lumberjacking.
Actually, back in March or April(?) I came to the conclusion that I was broke and subsequently cancelled my internet & TV. It was quite an amazing feat considering for two years ninety percent of my life was consumed by the two. It was a needed lifestyle change. So now I pretty much stay outside all the time. I work during the week and I'm camping/boating/hiking every weekend. Where I live has some badass spots to do those things.
My company just got an internet connection last week, so I've been trying to catch up on whats been happening in my previous life. Seems things will roll on indefinitely in ffxi =P. I doubt I will ever be able to come back, whereas some months ago I assumed it to be inevitable that I would be back. It seems they don't really do the return to vanadiel thing anymore, of course I didn't really inquire to deeply into it. Plus, I'm still poor and don't really feel like replacing food with internet.
I really miss the relationships I had with peoples in the game, which is the only real drawback to getting out of it. Time leaks out, my life leaks in.

Well indeed it is, brief as it may be! =D
My winter work is winding down, next week being the last. So my early mornings of erratic fun will soon evolve into evenings brimming with adventure. I've been spending 2-3 hours in the mornings leveling if I can. Progress has been steady, I think when I'm back on an evening schedule with the game I can leech my way in a couple sea pt's to 75! (Ahem, talking to you <insert any Blm I'm friends with that I can abuse & harrass into manaburning>). So far I've hit 73.
Tian and I went to farm Water IV the other day in QulunDome. It was the first time I had played BLM outside of EXP for any reason D:. We stayed they're a good while and really got some results!
Yeah, I'm a noob =D. I never knew why Kaelen insisted on dying so much on BLM, but I found it is a truly gratifying feeling.....ahem. =D
Last Thursday I went and did a Kirin with Impulse before I headed into work, I went as 72 BLM and had a fucking load of fun~ and got the best gimp kill shot ever. It made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Ah peach skin covered insides, how fuzzy you are!
